scarab beetle necklace


Scarabs were popular amulets in ancient Egypt. This necklace was modelled after artifact found by archaeologists.

Scarab Beetle Necklace is made of sterling silver, red carnelian stone, blue kyanite, and yellow amber from Chiapas, Mexico.

The techniques showcased in this necklace are, hydraulic press, repousse, stamping, construction, soldering, riveting, oxidization and stone setting.

This one of a kind piece has  wings that open and close attached by rivets, so it has movement for the wearer.

The sterling silver chain is 18″ long and can be extended up to 22″.
